Kategorie: Chenrezig Thangka, Statue & Amulet

Chenrezig, Avalokiteshvara, is the bodhisattva of compassion. In the four-armed form most often painted in Tibet, the upper hands hold a crystal mala and a lotus, the lower hands are joined at the heart around a wish-fulfilling jewel, and the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is written in the halo.

He is the most widely practised deity in Tibetan daily life, and the thousand-armed form is the one invoked when the suffering being addressed is too large for two hands.

Formats in this collection: Hand-painted thangka and prints, painted and cast statues, tsa-tsa molds, dzi beads, lockets and amulets.
