Contadores de Contas de Mala

A mala counter is a pair of small clips worn on the mala itself, so the count can pass 108 without losing place: one clip marks the tens, the other the hundreds. It is the cheapest way to make a single mala serve a full cycle of practice.

What is here: sterling silver pairs, brass and copper, and a few old kapala counters carrying the deep patina of long use. Silver is the quietest and the most commonly gifted; kapala counters are one-offs.

The clips open to about 4 mm and sit on 6-10 mm beads. Browse the full 108 bead malas, or pair a counter with a bodhi root mala.
