Colección: Vajrasattva Thangka & Statue — Purification

Vajrasattva is the deity of purification. He is white, crowned and jewelled, holding a vajra at the heart in the right hand and a bell at the left hip, seated in the cross-legged posture of a bodhisattva rather than the robe of a monk.

His hundred-syllable mantra is the standard repair for broken commitments and the usual start of any ngondro. A statue or thangka of Vajrasattva is placed facing the practitioner, because the practice is done in the first person, out loud, with visualization.

Formats in this collection: Hand-painted thangka and prints, painted and cast statues, tsa-tsa molds and amulets.
