Collection: Manjushri Thangka & Statue — Wisdom

Manjushri is the bodhisattva of discriminating wisdom. He is painted orange or golden, holding a flaming sword in the right hand that cuts through ignorance and a volume of the Prajnaparamita sutra at a lotus by his left shoulder, riding a blue lion.

Students keep him for study and memory; practitioners keep him for the sharpness that cuts conceptual confusion. His sword is the same sword Yamantaka carries — the wrathful form of the same wisdom.

Formats in this collection: Hand-painted thangka, prints, cast statues, tsa-tsa molds and amulets.
