Collezione: Yamantaka Thangka, Statue & Tsa Tsa

Yamantaka — Vajrabhairava, the diamond terror — is the wrathful emanation of Manjushri, the wisdom deity, and his name means the one who ends Yama, death itself. He is shown with a buffalo head, horns and a third eye, thirty-four arms fanned out, standing on a buffalo and a naked figure.

The practice is used to cut the fear of death and to clear severe obstacles, and it belongs to the highest yoga tantra, so it is normally taken up with a teacher.

Formats in this collection: Hand-painted and printed thangka, cast metal statues, tsa-tsa molds and small amulets.
