คอลเลกชัน: Vajrayogini Thangka & Statue
Vajrayogini is the red, semi-wrathful female yidam shown standing with the left leg bent and the right extended, a curved knife in the right hand and a skull cup at the heart, a staff across the shoulder, standing on a corpse — the body of ignorance transformed.
Her practice is one of the fastest in the Sakya and Kagyu traditions for cutting conceptual grasping. In the Vajravarahi form a sow's head emerges from the side of her own, which is how the two names relate.
Formats in this collection: Hand-painted thangka and prints, cast statues, tsa-tsa molds and amulets.
