商品系列: Mahakala Thangka, Statue & Amulet

Mahakala is the wrathful protector of the Dharma — a form taken to do the work compassion cannot do gently. He is depicted black, flame-haired, standing on a corpse or a Ganesha figure, surrounded by fire, with a skull crown and a garland of severed heads.

The forms differ by lineage rather than by taste: six-armed Mahakala in the Gelug and Sakya traditions, two-armed Bernagchen as the Karma Kagyu protector, Panjarnata in the Sakya tent tradition. Choose the form your practice or lineage invokes.

Formats in this collection: Hand-painted thangka and prints, cast statues, tsa-tsa molds, and small amulets and pendants worn or kept in a gau box.
